Brief Job Description

The role would be responsible to oversee the operations of the scrap shredding facility in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in the recycling industry, particularly with scrap metal and shredding equipment

Skills, Qualification and Experience

Experience, in years

Extensive knowledge and experience of recycling  ,10+years, 

Experience in the recycling industry

Academic Degree

BE/B.Tech – Mechanical


Core Functional Area 1, with number of years of experience

Operations of the scrap shredding & Maintenance, 10+

Exp particularly with scrap metal and shredding equipment.

Core Functional Area 2, with number of years of experience

Monitor and maintain Equipments, 10+

Africa exp would be an added advantage

Core Functional Area 3, with number of years of experience

Management Reporting , 10+


Key Responsibilities

Expected Results

1 Responsibility Operations & Maintenance

  • Manage and oversee the operations of the scrap shredding facility, including maintenance, production, and quality control.

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the efficient and safe operation of the facility.

2. Monitor and maintain Equipments

  • Manage and train staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

  • Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

3. Stakeholder Partnering & reporting

  • Work with suppliers and customers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials and finished products.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies.

  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on production, quality, and financial performance.
